中國(guó)化學(xué)會(huì)—美國(guó)化學(xué)會(huì)合作協(xié)議

中國(guó)化學(xué)會(huì)副理事長(zhǎng)張希院士和美國(guó)化學(xué)會(huì)主席Donna Nelson于2016年8月21日在美國(guó)費(fèi)城續(xù)簽合作協(xié)議

Joint engagements and activities：

• Explore joint activities, benefits or discounts for individual members of both organizations to encourage participation and engagement in both societies;

• Explore technical and non-technical programming to be jointly developed between ACS and CCS to provide programming in China and the US;

Develop a joint conference or workshop on lab safety for the creation of a sustainable model that could include examinations and certification

• Institute joint awards on innovation and/or China-US collaboration. The focus should be on industry and academia

• Partner on outreach activities: Co-organize programs such as Chemistry Festival and other programming, to be scheduled in China around already scheduled events in China

• Organize and deliver joint activities with a focus on young chemists, sustainable development and/or addressing Global Challenges, particularly those associated with sustainability, e.g., energy, water, and food;

• Coordinate efforts to support and continue the Chemical Sciences and Society Symposia (CS3);

• Collaborate on professional development and soft-skill training for chemical practitioners, in areas related to innovation and leadership, as well as training of journal editors;

• Mutually promote events, programs, products and services relevant to ACS and CCS memberships, maintaining links to each other’s websites and leveraging other communication channels available to both Societies when appropriate;

• Invite senior leaders of ACS and CCS to attend and participate in our respective national meetings and congresses where cooperative activities will be evaluated and refined.
